Collective haul

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well. :) This is a haul of all these things some i ve bought and some were gifted to me. So lets begin :

Bioderma: After  people really started raving about this product on youtube and blogs, i thought maybe I should give it a try.So on my recent visit to France I picked up this bottle, which btw is way more cheaper there than on ebay.

No.7 Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara : I had an accident with my mascara recently and the wand fell under the bed. Long story short I needed a new mascara. I bought this mascara, cause I had heard good things about No.7 Mascara. Up till now it has been great. It doesnt clump or anything. My eyelashes are beautifully lengthened.A MUST TRY.

elf studio single eye shadow-totally teal  , No.7 Bronzer , elf bronzer -Matte Bronze
elf bronzer -Matte Bronze, No.7 Bronzer , elf studio single eye shadow-totally teal

Elf Bronzer: I bought this recently, on the elf website. This is in the colour matte bronze, as you can see this is too dark for my skin. But i think this is perfect for  contouring . But it really has to be blended in to have the contour.

No.7 Bronzer :  It has a beautiful golden design,on it but unfortunately the golden doesnt stay on for too long and gets blended into the the bronzer. It does have some flecks on which look absolutely beautiful on the skin.

Elf eye-shadow: This eyeshadow, I got recently after my order on the elf website. They send me this because they had an offer going on. This is an absolutely beautiful colour, and I would never would have purchased this my self. But I am so happy to try and make new looks with this colour

These are some Lip colour which include Revlon Lip Butters, Elf lip stick and 2True cheek and lip stains.

TOP:Revlon Lip Butters in Berry Smoothie and Macroon. Elf Lipstick-Seductive
BOTTOM: 2True Lip and Cheek Stain

This is the cute Ciate Nail Varnish I got free with Marie Claire Magazine. Absolutely beautiful packaging, the bow in so adorable. This is a must try for everyone. The varnish comes on so smooth it is perfect.

Sorry about the bad photo :(

The following are swatches of the elf shimmering wip and concealer:

Shimmering whip in Golden Peach (Blended and not blended ) Elf Concealer - Honey

I also got the Elf studio powder brush which is raved about alot , specially for foundation. But I do feel than the brush is to dense to apply foundation. But i think its perfect for bronzers and powders.
I also was gifted the No.7 brush set. It is absolutely fantastic . Great for everyday . I would totally recommend these to a person who is beginner to makeup.I myslef dont have lots of brushes, so these have been very helpful.I also just picked up the Soap and Glory face mitt, I havent tried it yet but when I do, I will surely wright a review about it.

What the clothing colours say about u ?

Well every one has a favourite colour but that not necessaries is the colour we wear most often.
Mostly the colours we wear or pick up more often are the colours that reflect are mood and thought for the day. So look into your wardrobe and see what you wear the most and have a look out at what the colour says about you bellow:

 Red
Want to get someone’s attention? Red is your color! The color red empowers and draws attention toward the wearer. It’s also strongly associated with romance and passion, making it a perfect date-night color. But be careful – it’s also been said that red stimulates the appetite and makes us hungry for junk food, so wear with caution if you’re trying to eat healthier.
 Orange
Like red, orange draws attention and energy, but unlike intense red, it’s a little more soothing. While orange is a difficult color for some skin tones to pull off, if you have the coloring to work it, orange will help put you in a positive, energetic mood.
 Yellow
Sunny shades of yellow are the perfect thing to cheer you up on a bad day, so if you’re feeling down, wearing yellow could help perk you back up. Yellow is also associated with intelligence and inspiration, so wearing something yellow on the day of your big final exam might help you come up with some extra answers.
 Green
Shades of green are calm and soothing, as well as associated with nature and the outdoors. That’s why green is one of spring’s most popular shades. Green is also refreshing and has been found to reduce stress in those who look at it. If you’re feeling really overwhelmed during finals week, add green to your outfit and you might feel more relaxed.
 Blue
Blue is a color that can be both peaceful and calming as well as cold and standoffish. If you’re feeling really stressed out, the color blue can help you feel more relaxed. If you’re sad, however, you might want to steer away – the color blue can subconsciously make you feel more “blue.” Studies also show that blue can make you more creative, so if you want to channel some genius for your art project, wearing blue might be able to help. It can’t hurt, right?
 Purple
Regal and sophisticated, purple is associated with creativity and luxury. Like red, purple is a very stimulating color which can boost your energy level when you see it. It’s also a color that’s sometimes associated with spirituality and intuition, so if you’re having trouble making a decision, paint your nails lavender and see what comes to you.
 Pink
Of course we all know pink as the true girly-girl’s favorite color, but it’s also associated with romance and happiness. Pink is very calming, so don’t wear it if you need tons of energy. Because of its romance association, pink is a good choice for a date. You can also wear it anytime you’re a little bummed out for a boost. Of course, if you personally hate pink, then (obviously) this won’t work for you.
White
Missing summer on a cold spring day? Wear white! It reflects light and reminds us of sunnier days. It’s also associated with peace, innocence, simplicity, and cleanliness, although in Japan, white carnations mean death – who knew? Wear white when you want to bring out any other colors you’re wearing – it enlivens anything you pair with it.
 Black
If you’re going for a promotion at work or interviewing for a new job, you might want to wear black – it signifies power, seriousness, authority, and responsibility, all qualities your boss is likely looking for. Outside the office, black is also a color that will give you some rocker-chick edge. If you’re shy but want to feel like a badass one day, some black studded ankle boots should do the trick!

Gerorge - cheap and good nail polishes

I was walking around in asda and realized they had their own cosmetic range. I picked up two nail polishes colours one was the Quick dry Nail polishes in Love rat, a nice orange- coral color. The other one i picked was their new 3 D glitters in gold.
I really dint think of a doing blog post about this first but now i after wearing thhe Love Rat for 2weeks, and having such minimum chipping. I had tell you guys about i.
well the range costs between 1-2.50 pounds. Its quite cheap.
This is what No.74 Love Rat looks like:

Its a nice colour for spring. Its one of those colors, inspite of them not bieng so bright,it does bring your tan out. So now i am going to be inserting pictures of the how chip the nail polish became after two weeks.

So for me chipping is a major problem, but i don't think this much chipping at all for two weeks. Generally , in two weeks the chip nail paint reaches my cuticles :P . So i think this is great and a must for people who live in the U.K. and have an Asda near them.
Super cheap, and good quality nail polish. I put have put two coats on with a clear top coat for extra shine.

However, the glitter one i dint like much because it  just peeled off cause i put several coats on for major glitter to show. But maybe that's my fault . I ll try it again and write a blog post if its worth it.

Hope you have a good day.
Thankx for reading.

CETAPHIL GENTLE CLEANSER

I have used all kinds of drugstore cleanser which would stop my breakout and soften my skin. Most of them will help you lessen you r breakouts but they would have a harsh effect on your skin.I did realise that more frequently I used my skin would be red or itchy from them. My skin in normal to combination, but it is also sensitive. The cetaphil gentle cleanser is great for my skin type, or for any skin type actually. But if you are the kind of girl who likes an instant glow on your face or scrubby feeling cleanser this is not for you.

It is comes out in a quite liquid-y gooey format. You might need two pea size amount for your entire face.
When you put it really doesn't feel like anything in particular. It doesn't fell cold or minty. It is also fragrance free, so you cant really smell anything. After you put it on you cant wash it off or wipe it with a cotton pad, I prefer water. The immediate effect you could feel would surely be softer skin, which is great according to me.

I feel a cleanser should just remove dirt , sweat and makeup of your face, for other things like acne and pimple. One should go for good masks, specially home made masks and good scrubs. I do feel when cleansers  help you with removing acne and pimples, it has to many chemicals just makes things complicated for me.

But obviously this liked by everyone, if you would like to try it you could buy the travel size one for here, for £3.

Price and Packaging :

It costs £8, which to be honest could be seen as expensive for drug store but to justify this it 236ml product in it, which is around 36 ml more than a normal cleanser. I know lame justification, but whatever :P

The packaging however, very medical looking. Not very nice, for people who love buying a product because of its packaging obviously wont buy this one. Some of the bottle do come with a pump I guess, but I could find it.

For those who don't like Centaphil and would like to go for something to help with skin issues, i would recommend Neutrogena, hands down. I have tried two of the ranges - Deep Clean and Visibly clear . I have tried cleansers from both these ranges and I prefer the Deep Clean range better. I would also recommend Clean and Clear . It generally suits most skin types and no body really seems to have a reaction with it.

That's it for now.:)
Do tell me what else you would like to read about in the comment box.

Moisture needs 1- Body

Creams./Lotions/Oils.

In these cold times we need hydrate and moisturise our skin.
These are reviews of a few products that i have used in the past and some which have been raved online.

Vaseline Lotions.
Vaseline, one very famous company for moistures, gels and petroleum jelly. Most of us think petroleum jelly  vaseline :P. It is a company :p. Anyway, i find vaseline lotions are perfect really. Not to moisturising and not less. They come in different scents and types. Each type comes with own special smell and own special moisturing quality. I ve come accross the aloe vera one and the oats one. Both, i feel are fantastic in their own way .
Aloevera : it gives very cool sensation , moisturises , not sticky, great for summer.
Oats:        smells good, leaves had soft and locks in moisture well.
I would recommend vaseline to a personal with normal to dry skin. I think people with supper dry skin could go for something more moisturising.

Palmers.-Cocao Butter.

Palmers i feel is one of my favourite body lotions. It smells great and feels great . This is one of the most creams for you. According to me it suits all skin types .It comes in pretty big bottle with a pump. Which according to me is very hygienic . But because i live a cold country i did feel after some time the pump did not pump the cream as easily, if that makes any sense.  It got like frozen or something in the pump. So i had to open the bottle every time i needed to use it, which was really annoying. But yet i totally recommend this for really super dry skin (winter skin).

Nivea.

Nivea lotions are also very used and available like Vaseline. But in my opinion i dont think they are that great. I am not a fan of the smell. But the moisture and shine they give are obviously good but i do believe one could have a better lotion than the nivea one . But obviously this is personal choice. But i do feel it locks in moisture well. So give it go  if you like.

These are just a bunch of lotions that i have tried but i have also heard alot about the bio-oil online of you tube I have heard that it is very good for winter skin problems. So if you are having major dry skin do give it a go and let me know. Here is a  picture :

It is also recommended for scars, ageing, stretch marks uneven skin tone and dehydrated skin.

This is it for now. I will writing about lip balms as well, for chapped lips in the winter.
Thank you for reading.
